Workshop

Studio in the Woods is an ongoing educational programme administered by Mitchell Taylor Workshop, with the intention of encouraging the development of an architectural agenda through the direct experience of the construction of experimental architectural installations designed to reveal an aspect of place.

The program is aimed at architectural students, and practicing architects.

Studio in the Woods 2008 will take place in 1000 acres of privately managed habitat in Gloucestershire, from the afternoon of Thursday 3rd July 2008 to the afternoon of Sunday 6th July.

Units will be run by a number of award winning architects, including Erect Architecture, Mole Architects, Gianni Botsford Architects, Feilden Clegg Bradley, Mitchell Taylor Workshop and Kate Darby Architects, with a number of visiting distinguished critics including Peter Clegg and Ted Cullinan, also delivering key lectures at the event.
