Architecture South West - a celebration of contemporary architecture

Architecture South West draws on the success of 11 years of Architecture Week programmes and gives us the chance to think about, celebrate and, most of all, to experience architecture in the South West.

During the month of June, across the South West, there will be events looking at architecture in the broadest sense - from professional talks to family workshops; looking at contemporary buildings and heritage properties; in urban landscapes and rural locations. The programme of events will include film screenings, talks, walks, tours, building visits, exhibitions, debates and family activities.

The Architecture South West web site has been set up by The Architecture Centre in Bristol who are working with the Architecture Centre for Devon and Cornwall in Plymouth to encourage event organisers and to promote this period of celebration.

The Architecture Centres in Bristol and Plymouth produce a year round programme of activities centred on architecture and the built environment.
